Opening Scripture: “The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.” – Zephaniah 3:17 (KJV)
Dear Heavenly Father, as a congregation united in prayer, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation, praying for victory and triumph in every area of our lives. Lord, You are our Rock and our Refuge, and we trust in Your power to give us victory.
You said, “The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing” (Zephaniah 3:17). Lord, we pray that You would be our Savior and give us victory.
“For the Lord thy God is he that goeth with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” (Deuteronomy 31:6). Lord, we pray that You would go with us and give us strength.
“For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me” (Psalm 18:39). Lord, we pray that You would gird us with strength and give us victory.
“The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways” (Deuteronomy 28:7). Lord, we pray that You would smite every enemy that rises up against us.
“For the Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1). Lord, we pray that You would be our Light and our Salvation.
“Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great” (Psalm 18:35). Lord, we pray that You would give us the shield of salvation.
“And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly” (Romans 16:20). Lord, we pray that You would bruise Satan under our feet.
“For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). Lord, we pray that You would give us victory over every spiritual enemy.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
