Opening Scripture: “Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.” – Psalm 34:14 (KJV)

Dear Heavenly Father, as a congregation united in prayer, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation, praying for Your protection and deliverance from every evil that seeks to harm us or our loved ones. Lord, You are our Rock and our Refuge, and we trust in Your power to keep us safe.

You said, “Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it” (Psalm 34:14). Lord, we pray that You would help us to depart from every evil way, and to do good in Your sight.

“And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years” (Genesis 6:3). Lord, we pray that You would not allow evil to have dominion over us.

“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17). Lord, we pray that You would turn every wicked plan and scheme against us.

“For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever” (Psalm 37:28). Lord, we pray that You would preserve us and our loved ones from every evil.

“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:21). Lord, we pray that You would give us the strength to overcome every evil with good.

“The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth” (Psalm 41:2). Lord, we pray that You would preserve us and keep us alive.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). Lord, we pray that You would work all things together for good in our lives.

“For thou art my trust, O Lord God: thou art my hope” (Psalm 71:5). Lord, we pray that You would be our Trust and our Hope in every time of trouble.

“And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom” (2 Timothy 4:18). Lord, we pray that You would deliver us from every evil work.

“Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day” (Psalm 91:5). Lord, we pray that You would protect us from every terror and every arrow that flies by day or night.

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways” (Psalm 91:11). Lord, we pray that You would give Your angels charge over us.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony” (Revelation 12:11). Lord, we pray that we would overcome every evil by the blood of the Lamb.
