Job’s story: Job faced incredible suffering and loss, yet he chose to trust God, saying, “Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him” (Job 13:15).
David’s trust: In Psalm 23, David expresses his trust in God, even in the darkest valley, saying, “You are with me; your rod and your staff comfort me” (Psalm 23:4).

Hold onto hope: Remember that God is working to produce perseverance, character, and hope in you, even in difficult times.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to trust You in the dark times, when I don’t understand what’s happening. Give me the faith to hold onto hope and to rest in Your sovereignty and love. May Your presence and care bring me comfort and peace. Amen.
