Prayer of the Congregation for Back to Sender

Opening Scripture: “The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.” – Deuteronomy 28:7 (KJV)

Dear Heavenly Father, as a congregation united in prayer, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation, praying for Your protection and deliverance from every enemy that rises up against us. Lord, You are our Rock and our Refuge, and we trust in Your power to defend us.

You said, “The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways” (Deuteronomy 28:7). Lord, we pray that You would smite every enemy that rises up against us.

“For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me” (Psalm 18:39). Lord, we pray that You would gird us with strength, and subdue every enemy that rises up against us.

“Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day” (Psalm 91:5). Lord, we pray that You would protect us from every terror and every arrow that flies by day or night.

“The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul” (Psalm 121:7). Lord, we pray that You would preserve us from all evil, and protect our souls.

“For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). Lord, we pray that You would give us victory over every spiritual enemy.

“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name” (Luke 10:17). Lord, we pray that You would give us authority over every devil and every enemy.

“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). Lord, we pray that You would give us the strength to resist every devil and every enemy.

“And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee” (Jeremiah 1:19). Lord, we pray that You would deliver us from every enemy.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1). Lord, we pray that You would be our Light and our Salvation, and that we would not fear any enemy.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4). Lord, we pray that You would be with us, and comfort us in every time of trouble.

“And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly” (Romans 16:20). Lord, we pray that You would bruise every enemy under our feet.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
