Prayer of the Congregation for Break Chains and Yokes

Opening Scripture: “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” – Isaiah 58:6 (KJV)

Dear Heavenly Father, as a congregation united in prayer, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation, praying for Your deliverance and freedom from every chain and yoke that holds us captive. Lord, You are our Rock and our Refuge, and we trust in Your power to break every bondage.

You said, “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” (Isaiah 58:6). Lord, we pray that You would loose us from every chain of wickedness.

“And the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing” (Isaiah 10:27). Lord, we pray that You would destroy every yoke that holds us captive.

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound” (Isaiah 61:1). Lord, we pray that You would proclaim liberty to us.

“For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder” (Nahum 1:13). Lord, we pray that You would break every yoke of iniquity.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Lord, we pray that You would reveal the truth to us, and set us free.

“For freedom Christ hath made us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage” (Galatians 5:1). Lord, we pray that You would keep us free from every yoke of bondage.

“And I will break the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron” (Psalm 107:16). Lord, we pray that You would break every gate of brass, and cut in sunder every bar of iron that holds us captive.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
