Prayer Point: “Lord, protect us from the evil one and his schemes, and keep us safe in Your presence.” (John 17:15)

Heavenly Father, we come before You, seeking Your protection from the evil one and his schemes. We know that our adversary, the devil, seeks to devour and destroy us, but we also know that You are our Shield and Defender.

Lord, we pray that You would protect us from the evil one’s attacks, and keep us safe in Your presence. May Your hedge of protection surround us, and may Your angels watch over us. As Your Word says in John 17:15, “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.”

We ask that You would give us discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics, and wisdom to avoid his snares. May we be aware of his schemes and not be taken captive by his lies. As Your Word says in Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”

Lord, we pray that You would shield us from the enemy’s attacks on our minds, bodies, and spirits. May Your peace and joy fill our hearts, and may we experience Your victory over the forces of darkness. As Your Word says in 1 John 4:4, “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

May Your protection be over our families, our communities, and our nation. May Your presence be with us always, and may we trust in Your goodness and love.

Thank You, Lord, for Your protection and care. May Your name be glorified in our lives, and may we walk in Your victory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
