SECRETARY (FULL TIME JOB)

Employment Type: Full-Time (Onsite Office-Based Work)

Salary: EightyThousand Naira (₦80,000)

Job Summary:
The Secretary will provide administrative, customer service, and operational support to ensure smooth daily activities of the company. This role combines front-desk responsibilities with customer engagement, order processing, and preparation of sales for both online and walk-in customers. The ideal candidate must be organized, professional, customer-focused, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Office Support:

  1. Manage front-desk operations and receive visitors professionally.
  2. Handle phone calls, messages, emails, and general correspondence.
  3. Maintain proper filing systems (physical and digital).
  4. Schedule meetings, manage appointments, and support management with daily tasks.
  5. Prepare basic documents, reports, and records as required.

Customer Service:

  1. Attend to walk-in customers courteously and professionally.
  2. Respond to online customer inquiries via approved company channels.
  3. Provide accurate information about products and services.
  4. Ensure a positive customer experience and handle complaints or issues politely, escalating when necessary.

Sales Support, Packaging & Order Handling:

  1. Assist with sales transactions for walk-in and online customers.
  2. Prepare, package, and label products for customer pickup or delivery.
  3. Verify orders for accuracy before packaging and dispatch.
  4. Maintain basic sales records and hand over completed orders appropriately.
  5. Support inventory checks related to customer orders.

General Duties:

  1. Keep the reception and work areas clean, organized, and presentable.
  2. Support other departments when required to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Minimum of SSCE / OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
  2. Proven experience as a Secretary, Front Desk Officer, or Customer Service Representative is preferred.
  3. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet use).
  4. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work with minimal supervision.
  6. Honest, responsible, and customer-oriented.
